What is service design today?

As design is constantly changing, the aim of this project was to take a picture of those changes and help clarifying how service design has influenced the entire field.

This publication is the result of a research conducted by Matteo Remondini in 2016 in London, where service design as a practice was born and is steadily evolving.

The senior professionals interviewed for this research worked for relevant firms like IDEO, Livework, Fjord, Engine and Facebook among the others - or as freelance consultants.
They have been selected according to their different backgrounds and perspectives - service designers, PSSD graduates, senior UX designers and also the founder of a service design recruiting company took part in this project- so that the final picture is quite rich.
